It offers approximately 70 marked bays including six disabled-access spaces positioned close to the pedestrian gate. Operating hours are 8 am8 pm daily during summer (AprilSeptember) and 8 am6 pm in winter (OctoberMarch); pay-and-display machines accept coins, contactless, and RingGo; overnight parking is prohibited. The tarmac surface is grooved to assist drainage and inspected quarterly, with potholes repaired within 48 hours. Pedestrian access leads directly to Abbey Gardens (1 minute walk), St Edmundsbury Cathedral (4 minutes), and local bus stops on Parkway (3 minutes). Two 22 kW Type 2 EV charging bays are sited near the entrance, available via pay-as-you-go. Weekly litter clearance and monthly hedge trimming maintain a picturesque environment.
