Free visitor parking with accessible bays, illuminated paths, and direct access to Acorns Old Farm hospice.
Acorns Old Farm Parking is a private facility adjacent to the Acorns Old Farm childrens hospice, offering 80 sealed gravel bays for visitors and staff. Four accessible bays are located nearest the main hospice entrance to facilitate drop-offs. Parking is free of charge; short-term parking only is enforced to ensure availability for families. Solar-powered LED bollard lights illuminate pedestrian routes from dusk until 10 pm, and two CCTV cameras monitor the entrance and accessible bays. A wooden information kiosk at the entrance displays hospice visitor guidelines, local map, and emergency contact details. Maintenance includes quarterly gravel regrading, monthly line repainting of bay markers, and fortnightly litter clearance. Pedestrian pathways lead directly to the hospice building within a two-minute walk, and a bus stop on Downside Road offers hourly services to Bristol and Nailsea.
