Free Parking for Albury Heath Walks & Woodlands
Albury Heath Car Park is a rural surface-level facility managed by Surrey County Council, providing access to Albury Heath and Woodlands managed by the National Trust. The lot offers approximately 50 gravel-surfaced bays, including two accessible spaces positioned near the gated entrance. Operating 7 am7 pm daily, parking is free but requires registration via a pay-by-phone system; no on-site payment kiosk is available. No CCTV is provided; there is no lighting after dusk, so visitors should arrive and depart during daylight hours. A marked footpath leads directly from the lot to Albury Heaths open heather moorland, woodland copse, and appointed picnic areas within a one-minute walk. There is no direct bus service; visitors are advised to travel by car or bicycle. Covered cycle racks accommodating four cycles are provided to promote sustainable access. Regular gravel regrading maintains even ground and proper drainage.
