The AMRC (Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre) Car Park caters to researchers, students, and staff of the AMRC facility operated by the University of Sheffield. With 120 bays on compacted gravel and sealed asphalt sections, it includes six accessible bays near the main foyer. Entry requires a valid AMRC permit, enforced using ANPR cameras; visitors without a permit can purchase a daily permit online or at reception. The car park is open 24 hours, five days per week; it closes on weekends except during scheduled events. LED floodlights provide illumination from 6 pm to 6 am, and a network of seven CCTV cameras ensures security. Pedestrian access paths connect to the AMRC main building entrance within 100 metres, and shuttle buses run every 15 minutes to the University of Sheffield main campus between 7 am and 7 pm. Monthly maintenance includes regrading gravel sections, repainting lines, and checking drainage channels.
