National Trust parking for Anne Hathaways Cottage visitors
Anne Hathaways Cottage Car Park is a National Trust-operated surface lot serving the historic thatched cottage site. It provides 200 marked bays including ten accessible spaces located nearest the gift shop. Operating hours are 9 am5 pm daily; pay-and-display machines accept coins, contactless, and RingGo; parking is free for National Trust members upon registration. The gravel-and-asphalt surface is reinforced to accommodate coach and car traffic, with quarterly inspections and patch repairs within 48 hours. LED bollard lighting provides minimal illumination for early-morning and late-evening visitors, and two CCTV cameras monitor entry, exit, and pedestrian pathways. Pedestrian egress leads directly to the cottage entrance (1 minute walk) and to adjacent gardens (2 minutes). Two Type 2 EV charging bays are available near the entrance, operating on a pay-as-you-go basis. Weekly litter clearance and hedge trimming maintain a well-kept environment.
