Situated directly outside the Asda supermarket on Barkby Thorpe Lane, this expansive tarmac car park accommodates approximately 180 vehicles, including ten designated disabled bays close to the store entrance. Free parking is available for customers for up to three hours upon validation at checkout; non-shoppers are charged £1.20 per hour via pay-and-display machines. Tall LED lampposts ensure excellent visibility after dark, and 24-hour CCTV provides continuous surveillance. Electric vehicle charging points (two bays) are located adjacent to the petrol station exit. Pedestrian crossings and trolley bays are maintained regularly for safe access to the store and adjacent retail units. Grounds maintenance includes monthly deep cleaning, seasonal pothole repairs, and repainting of bay lines by store management.
