The ASDA Underground Car Park is a two-level subterranean facility beneath the ASDA superstore, offering 250 marked bays including 14 accessible spaces adjacent to the elevator access points on both levels. Entry uses ANPR for registered shoppers, while others collect a ticket and validate it at customer service to exit within four hours free of charge; after four hours, a standard parking tariff applies via pay machines accepting cash, card, and AppPay. Bright LED lighting ensures clear visibility, and six CCTV cameras cover all ramps, bays, elevator lobbies, and pedestrian exits 24/7. Ceiling clearance is 2.1 m, with posted warnings for oversized vehicles. Pedestrian exits connect directly to the ASDA store entrance (1-minute walk) and to an internal ramp leading to ASDA petrol station forecourt (2 minutes). Four Type 2 EV charging bays are located near the elevator lobby on Level 1, available to shoppers on a pay-as-you-go basis. Weekly sweeping and grout cleaning maintain a debris-free environment, with biannual structural inspections ensuring safety.
