AstraZeneca Visitor Car Park is a private surface tarmac facility on the Alderley Park campus, serving visitors to AstraZeneca R&D, Woodford site. The lot offers 100 marked bays, including five Blue Badge spaces near the visitor reception entrance and one motorcycle bay. Access is restricted to escorted visitors, requiring pre-booked passes; no public parking. LED floodlights provide full illumination until midnight, and CCTV cameras monitor all entry and exit points. Pedestrian exits lead directly to the visitor reception (50 m) and to internal shuttle stops (100 m). Two 22 kW EV fast chargers are available for AstraZeneca staff and visitors at £0.30 per kWh, billed via corporate accounts. Seasonal corporate events reduce capacity by 20%; signage directs additional visitors to the Beech View Car Park (0.8 km). Maintenance crews repaint bay lines quarterly, repair lighting biannually, and clear litter weekly.
