Free park-side parking for Bailey Park visitors
Bailey Park Car Park is a dedicated surface facility serving Bailey Park and the adjacent Marston Lane recreational fields. Managed by Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council, it offers 100 marked bays, including eight disabled spaces directly opposite the park entrance. The car park operates sunrisesunset daily, free of charge, with no payment system installed. LED bollard lighting provides limited illumination during early mornings and late evenings for park users. One CCTV camera monitors vehicle entry and exit points. The asphalt-and-gravel hybrid surface is lightly graded to handle run-off, with seasonal inspections and patch repairs conducted biannually. Pedestrian pathways connect to the parks playground (1-minute walk), tennis courts (3 minutes), and community garden (5 minutes). The lot experiences high utilization during weekend sports fixtures, at which point stewards may assist with traffic direction and overflow parking management. No EV charging is available; the nearest public charger is at Abbey Street Car Park, a 10-minute walk away. Boundary trees are trimmed seasonally to maintain sightlines.
