Free forest parking for Bentley Wood trails
Located at 384P+MM (SP5 3SA) near Bentley Wood, this gravel-reinforced car park offers 40 bays for forestry and mountain biking visitors. Open daily from 6 am to 8 pm, parking is free but limited; overflow directs to a layby 500 metres south. No lighting is provided to preserve wildlife habitats, and no EV charging is available. One disabled bay with a firm grass pad is provided near the trailhead. A waymarked footpath leads directly into the woodland network within a 5-minute walk. Forestry Commission rangers patrol seasonally to maintain trail signage and provide safety updates.
