Free conservation parking with accessible bays, illuminated paths, and reserve access at Blackmoor.
Blackmoor Reserve Car Park serves the Blackmoor Nature Reserve and is managed by the Avon Wildlife Trust. The facility offers 50 sealed gravel bays including three accessible bays near the main footpath entrance. Parking is free, but visitors are encouraged to donate at the on-site collection box to support conservation efforts. Solar-powered LED bollards illuminate walkways from dusk until 10 pm, while two CCTV cameras monitor the entrance. A wooden interpretation board displays reserve maps, species guides, and safety notices for visitors. Seasonal maintenance includes gravel regrading, path clearance, and monthly litter picking to maintain a pristine natural environment for wildlife observation and educational visits.
