Central town parking at Leatherhead Bridge Street with EV charging
Bridge Street Car Park is a council-operated surface lot in Leatherhead town centre. It provides 140 marked bays including eight disabled-access spaces located near the pedestrian exit to Bridge Street. Operating hours are 8 am6 pm MondaySaturday; pay-and-display machines accept coins, contactless, and RingGo; maximum stay of 3 hours. The tarmac surface is inspected monthly, with drainage channels cleared weekly and potholes filled within 48 hours. LED bollard lighting ensures illumination during operating hours, and two CCTV cameras monitor entry, exit, and pedestrian routes. Pedestrian access leads directly to Leatherhead High Street shops (1 minute walk) and to nearby bus stops on Bridge Street (2 minutes). Two 7 kW Type 2 EV charging bays are located adjacent to the payment machines, available on a pay-as-you-go basis. Weekly litter clearance and monthly hedge trimming maintain a tidy town-centre facility.
