Bristol Road Car Park is a public facility managed by North Somerset Council, offering 50 sealed tarmac bays for shoppers and visitors to Congresbury village. Two accessible bays are positioned nearest the pedestrian walkway leading to Gooseham Mead shopping precinct. Pay-and-display machines accept coins, contactless cards, and pay-by-phone; tariffs are £0.50 per hour with a four-hour maximum stay, and a daily cap of £3 applies thereafter. LED lampposts illuminate the site from dusk until 11 pm, while two CCTV cameras monitor entry and exit points for security. Pedestrian pathways connect directly to Gooseham Meads convenience stores, cafés, and medical centre within a two-minute walk. Monthly maintenance includes line repainting, pothole repairs, and litter collection to maintain a tidy, safe environment. The car park is adjacent to Congresbury Church of St. Andrew (a five-minute walk) and a bus stop offering half-hourly services to Bristol and Weston-super-Mare.
