Free heritage parking with accessible bays, illuminated trail access to Cadbury Hill Roman fort.
Cadbury Hill Car Park serves walkers and cyclists visiting Cadbury Hill Roman fort and surrounding Mendip foothills. The lot features 40 sealed gravel bays, including two accessible bays located nearest the interpretive signage at the entrance. Parking is free, but visitors are asked to contribute to local heritage preservation via a donation box. Solar-powered LED bollard lights illuminate the main pedestrian route to the hilltop trail from dusk until 11 pm. A single CCTV camera monitors the entrance area. Quarterly maintenance includes gravel replenishment, line repainting, and regular litter collection. The car park provides direct access to a steep footpath leading to Cadbury Hills Iron Age bank and ditch, as well as connections to longer circular walks around Sheepway Commons. A nearby bus stop on Henley Lane offers hourly services to Bristol and Weston-super-Mare.
