Car Park 4 is a University of Warwick surface lot serving Gibbet Hill campus buildings. It provides 200 marked bays including 12 disabled spaces located adjacent to the main pathway. Access is managed via ANPR for permit holders; casual visitors register via the university portal and receive a QR code for barrier entry. The tarmac surface is grooved to enhance drainage, with monthly inspections and prompt pothole repairs within 48 hours. LED floodlighting on high masts ensures a safe environment for pre-dawn and late-evening commuters, and six CCTV cameras monitor all entry, exit, and pedestrian areas. Pedestrian routes lead directly to the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences (1 minute walk) and to the Hive Library (4 minutes). Four Type 2 EV charging bays are available near the entrance, bookable via the campus app. Weekly litter clearance and hedge trimming maintain a tidy environment.
