Be the first to review

Chew Magna Car Park is a community-managed facility operated by Somerset Council, providing 60 sealed tarmac bays, including four accessible bays near the pedestrian entrance to the High Street. Pay-and-display machines accept coins and contactless cards; tariffs are £0.80 per hour with a maximum stay of three hours, and a daily rate of £5 applies after that. LED lampposts illuminate the lot from dusk until 11 pm, and two CCTV cameras monitor the entrance and accessible bays. Pedestrian pathways link directly to Chew Magna’s array of independent shops, cafés, and the village hall within a two-minute walk. Monthly maintenance includes line repainting, pothole inspections, and litter removal to maintain a welcoming environment for village visitors.
