Old Mining College Centre Car Park is a free surface lot serving the community and adult learning hub housed in the former mining college building. The asphalt lot provides around 50 marked bays, including two Blue Badge spaces adjacent to the main entrance. Open daily from 7 am to 9 pm (closed Sundays), it offers unrestricted parking for adult learners, local community group attendees, and evening class students. LED street lamps illuminate the site until closing, and no formal CCTV is in operation, though local PCSOs conduct periodic checks. Pedestrian pathways lead directly to the Old Mining College entrance within one minute and connect to local bus stops on Chasetown Road. The lot often fills during evening educational sessions and weekend community events.
