Car Park Greyfriars Road| APCOA Greyfriars Rd, Coventry CV1 3RY

Car Park Greyfriars Road, under APCOA management, is a secure surface lot offering around 180 bays, including 10 designated disabled spaces close to exits, and four parent-and-child bays. The entrance is off Greyfriars Road, with simple signage on Corporation Street guiding motorists. The lot is operational 24/7; drivers purchase tickets from two pay-and-display machines that accept cash, cards, and smartphone payments. Covered pedestrian walkways at the exit lead to Coventry Cathedral (10 minutes) and the nearby shopping precinct (5 minutes). The site features industrial-strength floodlights and 24-hour CCTV surveillance. Regular staff patrols occur daily at peak times, and the tarmac surface is re-lined semi-annually to maintain clear bay demarcations. There is no height restriction. Although there are no on-site EV chargers, four rapid-charging points are available in Spon Street Car Park, a 7-minute walk away. Rates are prominently displayed, offering short-term rates (up to 3 hours), day rates, and evening/weekend discounts. Pedestrian access to the canal towpath is 3 minutes away for leisure walkers, and a cycle rack is installed at the lot’s southwest corner, encouraging mixed-mode commuting.
