Kingfield Road Car Park is a Coventry City Councilmanaged surface facility serving the Foleshill Road retail and residential district. The lot provides 70 sealed asphalt bays, including four accessible spaces adjacent to the pedestrian pathway leading to local shops and bus stops. Parking is free for up to two hours; pay-and-display machines accept coins and contactless cards for longer stays at £1.20 per hour (daily cap £6). Solar-powered LED bollard lights line pedestrian routes from dusk until 9:00 pm to ensure safe evening access. Two CCTV cameras monitor entrances and accessible bays for enhanced security. Covered information boards display local bus timetables for services to the city centre and Foleshill, as well as community notices. Pedestrian pathways link directly to retail parades, medical centres, and cafés within a two-minute walk. Monthly maintenance includes line repainting, pothole repairs, and litter collection to maintain a tidy, community-focused lot.
