Pay-and-display parking in Kesgrave town centre with EV charging
Millennium Way Car Park is a council-operated tarmac lot serving Kesgrave town centre and nearby community services. It provides approximately 100 marked bays including eight disabled-access spaces adjacent to the pedestrian exit. Operating hours are 7 am–9 pm daily; pay-and-display machines accept coins, contactless, and RingGo; maximum stay of 4 hours. The tarmac surface is grooved to improve drainage and inspected monthly, with potholes repaired within 48 hours. LED bollard lighting offers safe illumination during operating hours, and three CCTV cameras monitor entry, exit, and pedestrian routes to the adjacent community centre. Pedestrian walkways lead directly to Kesgrave Library (2 minutes’ walk), Kesgrave Community Centre (3 minutes), and local bus stops on Main Road (4 minutes). Two Type 2 EV charging bays are located near the entrance barrier, available via pay-as-you-go. Weekly litter clearance and monthly hedge trimming maintain a tidy environment.
