Car Park Reading Station, operated by APCOA, is a multi-level, secure facility directly linked to Reading Railway Station, offering 400 covered bays, including 25 accessible spaces on Level 1 adjacent to the footbridge. Entry and exit are controlled by ANPR cameras for registered railcard holders; casual users use ticket dispensers and pay-on-foot machines accepting coins, contactless cards, and mobile payments. Operating 24/7, the car park is monitored by high-definition CCTV cameras covering all levels, aisles, and pedestrian corridors. LED floodlighting ensures clear illumination after dark. A covered pedestrian footbridge leads directly to the station platforms in under one minute. Adjacent bus stops on Vastern Road provide frequent connections to local and regional services.
