Car Park Silver Street| APCOA Silver St, Coventry CV1 1HP

Car Park Silver Street, under APCOA management, is a multi-level concrete structure with four tiers and approximately 280 bays, including 18 marked for disabled badge holders close to the lifts. Entry is off Silver Street, directly opposite the entrance to Coventry Railway Station, making it a preferred option for rail commuters. ANPR barriers allow registered users swift access, while casual users receive paper tickets distributed at the entry. Payment machines on each level process cash and card payments, and an APCOA mobile app allows remote payment topping up. Comprehensive LED lighting ensures visibility, and 24-hour CCTV monitoring covers all areas. Pedestrian exits connect directly to the station’s main concourse (2 minutes) and to a covered footbridge leading to West Orchards Shopping Centre (5 minutes). Ceiling height is maintained at 2.2 m, with clear signage marking directional lanes and speed limits of 10 mph. A ventilation system prevents buildup of exhaust fumes, and automated air-quality sensors trigger additional ventilation when needed. Two EV charging bays (Type 2, 7 kW) are located on Level 1, accessible via pre-booking. Regular structural inspections are conducted every six months, and fire-safety drills are carried out quarterly. Tariffs include hourly, daily, and overnight rates, with discounted weekend packages.
