Castlefields Car Park is a council-operated surface lot located off Castlefields Road, serving Ellesmere’s town centre and the historic castle ruins nearby. It operates 8 am to 6 pm Monday–Saturday; pay-and-display charges of £1.00 per hour (capped at £4.00 per day) apply via machines accepting coins and contactless. Outside payment hours, parking is free, though overnight stays are not permitted. LED lamp columns provide illumination until midnight, and CCTV cameras monitor all aisles.
