Chainbridge Car Park is a free, council-managed tarmac lot located at Llantysilio in Llangollen, serving Chain Bridge and the Eglwyseg Escarpment walking routes. The facility accommodates approximately 40 marked bays, including two Blue Badge spaces and one motorcycle bay. It operates 8 am–8 pm daily; no pay-and-display. LED lamp columns provide illumination until dusk, and CCTV cameras monitor the entrance only. Pedestrian exits lead directly to Chain Bridge viewpoint (0.05 km), the Eglwyseg cliff footpath (0.1 km), and the ruins of Castell Dinas Brân (2 km). Benches and picnic tables are located near the lot perimeter overlooking the Dee Valley. Seasonal rock-climbing events reduce capacity by 10; signage directs drivers to the Brook Street car park (2 km). Maintenance crews repaint bay lines each spring and clear litter weekly.
