Chandos Street Car Park is a council-run multi-level facility offering 300 marked bays across three decks, including 15 accessible spaces located on Level 1 adjacent to lifts. Entry uses ANPR for permit holders; casual users take a ticket at the barrier and pay at pay stations on Levels 1 and 3 accepting coins, card, and RingGo. Overhead digital signage displays bay availability for each level. LED lighting ensures even illumination, and eight CCTV cameras monitor all ramps, bays, stairwells, and pedestrian exits 24/7. Ceiling clearance is 2.2 m, with low-clearance zones clearly marked. Pedestrian exits connect to Chandos Street shops (1-minute walk), Royal Priors Shopping Centre (3 minutes), and the railway station (7 minutes). Two Type 2 EV charging bays are situated on Level 2, available via the councils booking portal. Routine maintenance includes monthly barrier and lift servicing, quarterly structural inspections, and biannual repainting of floor lines.
