Free parking for Chasewater Country Parkdaylight use, close to trails and railway.
Chasewater Car Park on Pool Lane is a free, council-managed facility serving Chasewater Country Park and the adjacent heritage railway terminus. The gravel-and-tarmac lot accommodates around 120 vehicles, including four Blue Badge bays near the visitor centre entrance. Open from dawn until dusk year-round (no overnight parking), it is unlit, and no CCTV is provided; visitors are advised to arrive and depart during daylight hours. A large information board at the entrance details walking and cycling routes around the 550-acre reservoir, wildlife hotspots, and scheduled steam-hauled train timetables. A marked footpath from the lot leads directly to the visitor centre, playground, and picnic areas within two minutes. The site is particularly busy during weekend family events and seasonal festivals.
