This is an informal parking and access area for the former Old Ben Coal No. 1 mine, now part of the Peabody Energy Wildlands. It is not a formal, maintained lot, but rather a pull-off area used by hunters, anglers, hikers, and outdoor enthusiasts exploring the thousands of acres of reclaimed mine lands.
