Secure Pay-and-Display Parking Near Worcester Commandery
Commandery Road Car Park is a secure, surface-level lot providing 80 marked bays, including six accessible spaces closest to the pedestrian gate. Operating from 7 am to 8 pm daily, the lot is pay-and-display, with machines accepting coins, banknotes, and contactless payments. The car park is monitored by CCTV cameras covering all driving lanes and entry/exit points, and LED floodlighting ensures safe access after dusk. A dedicated pedestrian walkway with zebra crossings leads to the Worcester Commandery historic site and the university campus, both within a five-minute walk. Regular bus services on St John Street provide connections to the city centre, Cathedral, and railway station. Motorcycle parking bays and a bike rack area for up to six cycles are located near the pay machine. EV charging facilities are not available on-site, but public charging stations are located at the nearby Foregate Street Car Park.
