Cooks Yard B Car Park is a privately managed facility serving additional overflow for Wyvern Marina and local waterfront businesses in Wivenhoe. The lot comprises 50 sealed gravel bays, including two accessible spaces located adjacent to the reinforced walkway leading to Cooks Yard A. Parking is free for up to three hours; thereafter, a charge of £1 per hour applies, enforced by patrols. Solar-powered LED bollard lights line the pedestrian route from dusk until 9 pm for safe egress. No CCTV is installed; however, local wardens conduct evening patrols to deter unauthorized use. Covered signage at the entrance displays marina operation hours, tide times, and local bus timetables for services to Colchester.
