Cornhill Car Park is a surface facility managed by West Suffolk Council, situated behind the Buttermarket retail precinct in central Bury St Edmunds. The lot offers 100 sealed tarmac bays, including six accessible spaces located adjacent to the pedestrian walkway leading to the Buttermarket entrance. Pay-and-display machines accept coins, contactless cards, and pay-by-phone; tariffs are £1 per hour with a four-hour maximum stay, and a daily cap of £6 applies. High-mast LED lighting provides uniform illumination from dusk until midnight, and four CCTV cameras monitor all parking aisles and accessible bays. Covered information boards at the entrance display local shopping guides, event schedules, and bus timetables.
