Cutthroat Bridge Car Park is a small rural facility located off the A57 (Snake Pass), serving hillwalkers, rock climbers, and nature enthusiasts exploring the Hope Valley area. The gravel lot accommodates approximately 30 vehicles, including two accessible bays near the highway entrance. Operating daily from 7 am to 9 pm, parking is free of charge; no payment machines or permits are required. No CCTV coverage or lighting is provided, so daytime visits are strongly recommended. A well-signed footpath leads directly from the lot to local walking routes, including access to Edale and Mam Tor within a five-minute walk. Informational boards detail trail maps, gritstone climbing spots, and moorland conservation guidelines. Limited rural bus stops on the A57 provide occasional services to Sheffield City Centre and Glossop. EV charging is not available on-site; the nearest rapid charger is at Castleton Visitor Centre Car Park, a ten-minute drive away. Covered cycle racks accommodating up to four bicycles are provided near the entrance to support eco-friendly mountain biking in the area. Seasonal gravel grading and drainage improvements prevent mud and flooding during wetter months.
