Euro Car Park is a private facility managed by the Eastgate Centre operators, located off Great Colman Street adjacent to the delivery ramp. The lot offers 120 sealed asphalt bays, including six accessible spaces positioned nearest to the pedestrian entrance of the shopping centre. Access is controlled by barrier arms; casual users pay at pay-on-foot machines inside the centre, accepting coins, notes, and contactless cards. Tariffs are £2 per hour with a daily cap of £10, free for blue badge holders upon display. High-efficiency LED lighting illuminates the lot from dusk until midnight, and four CCTV cameras provide continuous security coverage. Covered pedestrian walkways connect directly to the Eastgate shopping mall entrance and nearby bus stops within a two-minute walk. Covered information boards display retail opening hours, local bus timetables for services to the waterfront, and centre event schedules. Monthly maintenance includes line repainting, pothole repairs, and litter clearance to maintain a secure, shopper-friendly environment.
