The Free Public Parking lot on Coventry Road offers complimentary, open-air parking to shoppers and visitors in the Sheldon district. The facility provides approximately 80 marked bays on a tarmac surface, including four disabled spaces near the adjacent retail parade. Operating hours are from 6 am until 10 pm daily; gates are locked outside these times to prevent overnight parking. The site is monitored by low-resolution CCTV cameras focused on entry and exit points, and LED floodlighting illuminates the lot during operating hours to enhance pedestrian safety. A covered pedestrian walkway leads directly to the local convenience store and pharmacy, both within a two-minute walk. Bus stops on Coventry Road offer frequent routes into Birmingham City Centre and Solihull.
