Gallows Hill Nature Area Parking is a small, intimate lot at the entrance to the Gallows Hill Local Nature Reserve, known for its meadowlands and appeal to wildlife enthusiasts. The sites compacted grass gravel surface holds roughly 20 standard cars, with no formal disabled bays but level ground near the information boards for easy pedestrian access. From here, visitors can walk into the reserves wildflower meadows, ancient woodland patches, and interpretative bird hides, all within a few minutes. There are no facilitiesno toilets or lightingso parking is dawn until dusk only (approx. 05:3021:30 in summer). Visitors must display a free parking permit (available from Otley Tourist Information) to prevent misuse, with a maximum stay of 3 hours to minimize disturbance to wildlife. Informal bike racks are located beside the reserve entrance, and waymarked trails lead toward the Ridgeway, connecting between Otley and Pool.
