The asphalt bays, last resurfaced in late 2023, have thermoplastic lines that were repainted in early 2024. LED streetlamps ensure bright illumination after dusk, and two CCTV cameras mounted on nearby buildings monitor the bays. In 2024, low planter boxes were added along the southern boundary to provide visual screening from parked vehicles to the riverside pedestrian walkway. Directional signage at the entrance points drivers to the nearby High Street exit and local bus stops. Weekly maintenance includes litter clearance and inspection of drainage inlets to prevent blockages.
