Preserve access parking with interpretive panels
Serving the Gateway to Sandstone Falls Preserve, this paved lot off Route 60 provides 60 spaces, including three ADA stalls at the access trailhead. Entry signage outlines preserve rules and trail distances. An interpretive kiosk describes local geology and flora. Perimeter LED bollards and a CCTV camera enhance safety without detracting from the natural setting. A bioswale along the south edge captures runoff, and quarterly maintenance ensures gravel shoulders remain stable. Park rangers conduct periodic patrols to assist visitors and monitor environmental impact.
