Harbour Quay West Car Park is a council-operated tarmac surface lot offering approximately 80 marked bays including six disabled-access spaces located near the quay entrance. Operating hours are 7 am–9 pm daily; pay-and-display machines accept coins, contactless, and RingGo; no overnight parking allowed. The tarmac surface is grooved for drainage and inspected quarterly; potholes are repaired within 48 hours. LED bollard lighting ensures visibility for early-morning and evening harbour visitors, and two CCTV cameras monitor entry, exit, and pedestrian routes. Pedestrian pathways lead directly to Southwold Harbour Quay West landing (1 minute walk) and to the Southwold Lighthouse (5 minutes). Two Type 2 EV charging bays are located near the entrance, available via pay-as-you-go. Weekly litter clearance and perimeter hedge trimming maintain a neat coastal environment.
