Harbour West Car Park is a council-operated tarmac lot serving Southwold Harbour and adjacent beach access. It provides approximately 70 marked bays including six disabled spaces located near the harbour entrance. Operating hours are 7 am–9 pm daily; pay-and-display machines accept coins, contactless, and RingGo payments; no overnight parking. The tarmac surface is grooved to facilitate drainage and inspected quarterly; potholes are repaired within 48 hours. LED bollard lighting ensures visibility for early-morning and evening visitors, and two CCTV cameras monitor entry, exit, and pedestrian routes. Pedestrian paths lead directly to Southwold Harbour (1 minute walk), to the beach (3 minutes), and to local pubs (5 minutes). Two Type 2 EV charging bays are located near the ticket machines, available on a pay-as-you-go basis. Weekly litter clearance and hedge trimming maintain a tidy coastal environment.
