Secure under-bridge parking with 24/7 CCTV and RFID access
High Level Bridge Parking Co. (HLCP) is a secure, gated under-bridge parking facility located at Half Moon Lane, directly beneath the historic High Level Bridge. The site offers 100 spaces on a reinforced concrete surface, with barrier-controlled access via RFID fobs provided to registered users (residents, commuters, and local business permit holders). Uniform 3.6 m-wide bays include eight accessible spaces with extra-length and drop-kerb access, positioned closest to the bridges pedestrian walkway. Operating 24/7, the lot is covered by 24-hour CCTV with infrared surveillance to capture number plates, and is illuminated by overhead LED strip lights mounted under the bridge deck, ensuring bright, shadow-free coverage. In 2025, the concrete floor was resealed and all line markings repainted; drainage channels along the perimeter prevent water pooling during heavy rain. A landscaped buffer of native grasses runs along the northeastern boundary to filter roadway runoff. An emergency intercom and panic alarm are installed near the accessible bays, connecting directly to HLCPs security center. Monthly patrols by private security ensure only authorized vehicles occupy the bays.
