Holland Haven Car Park is a coastal council-managed surface lot serving beachgoers and local residents in Holland-on-Sea. The facility provides 120 sealed tarmac bays, including six accessible spaces positioned adjacent to the main pedestrian crossing leading to the beachfront promenade. Pay-and-display machines accept coins and contactless cards; tariffs are £1.20 per hour with a daily cap of £5 during peak season (April–September), and free off-peak (October–March). Solar-powered LED bollards line the pedestrian pathways from dusk until 10:00 pm, ensuring safe egress for evening visitors. A network of three CCTV cameras monitors entrances, exits, and accessible bays for security during high traffic periods. Covered information boards display tide times, lifeguard schedules, and local bus timetables for the 76 service to Clacton town centre. Pedestrian footpaths link directly to the beach access ramp, children’s playground, and café strip within a two-minute walk. Quarterly maintenance includes line repainting, pothole repairs, and litter clearance to maintain a clean, welcoming coastal environment.
