Free nature reserve parking at Iken Cliffs
Iken Cliff Car Park is a forestry-managed surface lot serving the Iken Cliff nature reserve and coastal path. It provides 50 marked bays including three disabled spaces located near the trailhead entrance. Operating hours are sunriseĀsunset daily; no charges apply. The gravel surface is lightly graded to manage drainage and inspected quarterly; minor repairs are completed within 48 hours. No lighting is provided to preserve dark-sky conditions; one CCTV camera monitors entry and pedestrian routes. Pedestrian pathways lead directly to the Iken Cliffs trail (1 minute walk) and to the Blyth Estuary viewpoint (3 minutes). No EV charging stations exist on-site; the nearest public charger is at Woodbridge Station Car Park, a 10 minute drive away. Biweekly litter clearance and seasonal footpath maintenance keep the site accessible for walkers and birdwatchers.
