K.E.S. Car Park is a private surface lot serving King Edwards School and nearby businesses. It offers 80 marked bays, including six disabled spaces located adjacent to the schools side entrance. Access is controlled via a locked gate operating 7 am7 pm on school days; outside those hours, permit holders use keypad entry. The asphalt surface is inspected quarterly, with pothole repairs completed within 48 hours. LED column lighting ensures visibility for early-morning drop-offs and evening activities, and two CCTV cameras monitor entry, exit, and pedestrian routes. Pedestrian pathways lead to the school main gate (1-minute walk) and to Chapel Lane shops (3 minutes). No EV charging is provided; the nearest public charger is at Church Street Car Park, a 7-minute walk away. Weekly litter clearance and perimeter hedge trimming maintain a safe environment.
