KFC Car Park is a private surfaced lot providing 40 bays for customers of Kentucky Fried Chicken Mapperley outlet. Operating hours are 10 am11 pm daily, with a flat fee of £1 for up to one hour (paid via contactless card or KFC app at the restaurant); overnight parking is prohibited. Two accessible bays (3.6 m wide) are located within 5 m of the restaurant entrance, featuring drop-kerb access and tactile paving. The sealed tarmacadam surface was resurfaced in late 2023, and fresh thermoplastic bay markings applied in early 2024. Two CCTV cameras with motion detection monitor all entry, exit, and aisle areas, streaming to the restaurants security office. Perimeter planter troughs with seasonal shrubbery provide visual appeal and manage stormwater runoff. Directional signage inside the lot guides drivers to the exit onto Woodborough Road. Monthly maintenance includes pay machine servicing, litter clearance, and minor pothole repairs.
