Knypersley Reservoir Car Park is a free, council-managed gravel and stabilized stone lot located off Brown Edge Road, serving Knypersley Reservoir and surrounding footpaths. The unmarked area accommodates approximately 70 vehicles and is open from dawn until dusk; no overnight parking is permitted. A wooden information panel displays flood risk warnings, fishing regulations (permits required), and walking trail maps stretching around the reservoir perimeter (2 km circuit). Benches and picnic areas are provided near the waters edge (0.1 km), and an informal canoe launch point is accessible adjacent to the lot. No lighting or CCTV is provided, so daytime use only. Seasonal fishing competitions occur monthly between April and September, with temporary parking signage for judges and participants.
