The Lansdown Playing Fields South Car Park is a free gravel and grass facility with 80 informal bays, maintained by Bath & North East Somerset Council. No pay & display; stays are limited to three hours by signage. The site is unlit and without CCTV, but rangers patrol regularly during daytime events. Bays are demarcated by timber posts. A footpath leads to the playing fields, tennis courts and cricket pavilion. Ideal for sports participants and spectators, it is closed overnight to prevent unauthorized camping.
