Leisure Centre Car Park is operated by Suffolk Coastal District Council, serving Felixstowe Leisure Centre and waterfront promenade. The lot offers 200 sealed asphalt bays, including ten accessible spaces positioned adjacent to the pedestrian ramp leading to the leisure centre entrance. Pay-and-display machines accept coins, contactless cards, and mobile payments; tariffs are £1.50 per hour with a daily cap of £6 during leisure centre hours. High-lumen LED floodlights illuminate all aisles from dusk until 11:00 pm to accommodate evening swimming sessions. Five CCTV cameras monitor entrances, exits, and accessible bays for security. Covered pedestrian pathways link the lot directly to the leisure centre, the seafront, and nearby cafés within a two-minute walk. Covered information boards display leisure centre class timetables, local event listings, and bus timetables for services to Ipswich and Colchester. Monthly maintenance includes line repainting, pothole repairs, and litter clearance to maintain a clean, safe environment for families and fitness patrons.
