Longford Road Car Park is a council-operated surface lot providing 140 bays, including eight disabled spaces located near the main entrance. Operating hours are 7 am10 pm daily; pay-and-display machines accept coins, contactless, and RingGo; no parking is allowed outside these hours. LED high-efficiency column lighting ensures visibility during low-light periods, and three CCTV cameras monitor entry, exit, and pedestrian pathways. The tarmac surface is graded toward central drains, with quarterly inspections and pothole repairs completed within 48 hours of reporting. Pedestrian walkways lead to Longford Road Shops (2-minute walk), industrial estate offices (4 minutes), and bus stops (5 minutes). Peak usage occurs during shift-change hours; signage directs overflow to Car Park P2 Wilsons Lane. Two Type 2 EV charging outlets are located at the southwest corner, available on a pay-as-you-go basis via the councils portal. Biweekly litter clearance and hedge trimming keep the site presentable.
