Free parking for Bancroft Park and valley trails.
Loughton Valley Car Park is a council-managed, gravel-reinforced lot located within Bancroft Park at 1A Constantine Way in Milton Keynes (MK13 0RA). The facility accommodates approximately 70 vehicles, including 5 accessible bays positioned near the park entrance. Parking is free, with no time restrictions, but gates close at dusk (approx. 20:00 in summer). There is no lighting, so parking is daylight hours only. CCTV cameras monitor the entrance and main circulation lane during daytime. The reinforced-gravel surface is graded quarterly to maintain an even finish, and drainage ditches run along the perimeter to prevent flooding. A sealed footpath leads from the lot to the Loughton Valley Linear Park trails (0.1 miles), popular with walkers and cyclists, and to the Bancroft Marina on the Grand Union Canal (0.3 miles). A volunteer Friends of Loughton Valley group patrols monthly to clear litter and maintain bird hide areas. Educational signage at the entrance displays local wildlife and habitat information, including details on the canals lock system.
