Lutwyche Road Car Park is a free, council-managed tarmac lot located on Lutwyche Road, serving the western edge of Church Stretton and access to Wilderhope Manor walks. The facility offers 35 marked bays, including two Blue Badge spaces near the lot entrance and one motorcycle bay. It operates 8 am–8 pm daily; no pay-and-display. LED lamp posts provide illumination until dusk, and CCTV cameras monitor the entrance only. Pedestrian paths lead directly to local bus stops (0.05 km), the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre (0.5 km), and footpaths to Wilderhope Manor (5 km). Benches are provided near the lot perimeter overlooking rolling farmland. Seasonal guided nature walks reduce capacity by 5; signage directs drivers to the High Street overflow car park (1 km). Maintenance crews repaint bay lines each spring and clear litter monthly.
