Located at the summit car park of Lydeard Hill, this gravel-surfaced lot accommodates around 40 vehicles and serves as the trailhead for several ridge-top walks across the Quantock Hills AONB. The site features interpretive panels on local geology and heritage, a circular dog-friendly path, picnic tables with panoramic views over the Bristol Channel, and sheltered seating. No formal toilets or pay-stations are present; parking is free but on a first-come basis. The nearest water refill point is at the nearby village of Holford, 2 miles to the west.
